Ashok Leyland Limited has reported sales figures for the month of May 2022. The company has reported 315% YoY increase in sales during May 2022 at 13273 units as against 3199 units in May 2021. Domestic sales grew 355% in May 2022 at 12458 units as compared to 2738 units in May 2021. LCV sales was up 328% YoY at 5328 units in May 2022 as against 1246 units in May 2021. Domestic LCV sales increased 324% YoY to 5190 units during May 2022, as compared to 1225 units in May 2021. M&HCV sales increased 307% YoY to 7945 units in May 2022, as against 1953 units in May 2021. M&HCV bus sales was up 180% YoY to 1098 units in May 2022 as compared to 392 units in May 2021. M&HCV Trucks sales was up 339% YoY at 6847 units during May 2022, as against 1561 units in May 2021. Domestic M&HCV sales during May 2022 was up 380% YoY at 7268 units, as compared to 1513 units in May 2021. Domestic sales of M&HCV trucks was up 386% to 6639 units in May 2022 as against 1365 units in May 2021. The domestic sales of M&HCV Bus increased 325% to 629 units in May 2022, as compared to 148 units in May 2021. The change percentage in above figures are not comparable due to impact of second wave of COVID-19 last year. Shares of Ashok Leyland Limited was last trading in BSE at Rs. 140.00 as compared to the previous close of Rs. 137.55.
